Twinsen Biddy, Biddy!!

Ok, I was on YouTube watching some tutorials on flash, and there was a Crazy Frog video, I hate The Crazy Frog but I clicked the video anyway because it was featured... I was listening to it and I noticed this. On LBA2, on one of the islands there is a little animal that says something like "biddy biddy, biddy biddy", I think it's the island with those big blue water monsters, at the bit where you have to dig with the pickaxe, I can't remember the name. Back to the point, I'm on about that little animal that says "biddy biddy, biddy biddy". Well, in this video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXrnKGSShMk&feature=fvw
(If the link doesn't work, the video is called Crazy Frog-Popcorn)
Throughout it, The Crazy Frog says "biddy biddy" at points like 0:09 and 0:24 (I'm not going through all of them).

Does anybody think they sound the same? I havn't heard the LBA2 one in a while but it jolted my memory and I was sure I heard that in LBA2.

Care to share?

EDIT: Credit to CannibalK9, in his speedrun, in this part...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoYlt...eature=channel
at 5:40 You see it... I was right
The Crazy Frog must die for stealing from LBA2, they don't sound the same, but how would The Crazy Frog get the idea of "Biddy, Biddy!!"?

EDIT: I listened to them both, they actually sound pretty much the same...

It does sound the same. I wouldn't be suprised if it's the same sound though. LBA uses many stock sound effects. The sound effect for the Magicball alone has also been heard in several places. (There are a few threads where people are pointing it out on these forums)

Well noticed though!

I keep re-checking, over and over and over again, I think they are actually the same sound, although the lba version is slightly louder and played twice, I would compare the sounds, although I wouldn't be able to get the background music off the Crazy Frog song.

I think there were some sounds in Mario Galaxy that were LBA (or LBA-ish), just as an example. It's not uncommon.

Weird, in the french version, the biddy-biddy is way more high-pitched.

In the German version, the owl says "Mimi, mimi" very slowly.

I do remember downloading an LBA Theme Pack a few years ago, and there was a sound file there with "biddy biddy". It didn't sound like the biddy version I know, and I never understood what it is. That would probably explain it.

edit: and yes, I did enter this thread just because of its title

What's an "LBA Theme Pack"? Does it contain the music?

Well, if you remember, Windows 98/ME had this thing called "Themes". Applying such a theme changed the appearance of many things in Windows, such as the desktop wallpaper and icons, the sound events, etc. When I had WinME, I downloaded an LBA theme pack from a site that offered many such packs (I can't find it now...). The "biddy biddy" was the question sound event if I remember correctly.

Well, you can still customize your sound, wallpaper, etc. in just about every incarnation of Windows. I don't see why you couldn't, although doing it individually might be a righteous pain in the ass...

Here you go:

http://www.littlebigadventure2.com/lba2/lba2theme.zip (direct link)

It's in the LBA II site mirror, in the picture section.
