LBA2 - GOG vs DotEmu

Asking anyone who has downloaded the DotEmu version: what makes it over a gigabyte, compared to GOG's 600-something megabytes? If it were bonus material, the DotEmu site would say so.
I'm asking because if the reason for the difference is that the DotEmu version has a disc image (for some reason) with the soundtrack in CD audio format, like the US and Japan versions did originally, I'm getting it for the music quality

So any info on that? Thanks

I think that what makes it over a GB is that it's both LBA1 and LBA2.

LBA1 and LBA2 Pack: 1580 MB
LBA1: 589 MB
LBA2: 1010 MB

If you're asking for LBA2, maybe GOG's installer has better compression, or what you said about the music. I can't tell you anything or sure, since I only have the GOG version.

Not to be rude or anything, but how about we assume I did my research properly I specifically meant LBA2, not the pack. LBA2 is 1010 MB on Dotemu and 653 MB on GOG. So either that's a really really bad compression from Dotemu, or a huge emulator (doubt it, it's probably DOSbox like on GOG).

Anyway, I'd still be happy with a factual answer

No problem I forgot the title while I did my research xD

I'd also like to know the difference! Until now I can only make guesses.

The additional size is bonus content:
- 36,5MB for LBA1
- 326MB for LBA2

Some content are the same as Gog version like the HD images, some sketches, LBA2 chapters review.

But there are new content, few new sketches that are not present in the GOG version (at least one of them I notice right away - its a sketch of Twinsun islands), a lot of videos taken from LBA2 converted to flv extension and some other videos with strange extensions I didn't manage yet to play them.

The game is also using DosBox version 0.74

Thanks for that, you're really helpful So no CD quality soundtrack, huh?

Also, videos of the game in flv? You mean the cutscenes? Or gameplay footage?
What's the extension of the other videos btw? I'm curious and maybe I (or anyone reading) can help, who knows...

Actually, they are just the movies in the game. Nothing new.
Really odd why they give that as a bonus with those weird formats.

Overall the bonus content is really bad organized. They doesn't seam to care about it. At least in GOG it was split into different categorized files.
