experience with modelling and joining RMP

As you all know, I joined RMP. That was last year.

Since then, I learned a lot on modelling things. Meshsmooth,NURBS,lightning, renderers, bones,UVW,UV unwrapping, and all the minor options in 3dsmax.

Really, I learned so much, that all of my old models seems useless. Last year I tryed to do wheeltracks in the sand, by making boxes and boolean.. If you ask me to do that NOW, I should do it with Bumpmapping, of splines, or displacement mapping, or all that together.

Again, I must say all of my models seems useless, they aren't high-poly, they aren't textures very well, they just don't seem to be good enough for a movie.

So I don't know what to do now. Another example is the rebellion. It looked nice, but I learned that it's just putted together with the wrong ways, so it can't be used for the movie.

Now I'm alot more experienced, but one more thing has appeared; a lot of school work. So I just don't have enough time to work on the RMP. And if I have a day of spare time, I work on LbaRemake.

Just to let you know, I'm still thinking about RMP, and you could expect very high-quality renders of me, when I have time to work on it once again.

Same for me, I'm kinda laughing when I check my first models.... but well I put lots of details on them anyway so even if I lost a lot of time, they should be sufficient for the movie (when they(ll have been textured properly.....)

When do you mean there ?

I didn't used any cloth simulation programmes while making that character, I just made a box and putted the poly's around his body, so it looked like a coat..
For the pocket's I did just put some boxed on his chest.

Well; every moddeler understands, that that's just not the way no do it, and that it's way too bad to use in a movie; not to talk about rigging the damn thing.

ps: Offcoarse I'm proud on my models Yeah, but when you look at all the things I learned, you notice that most of my models were more game-models than real movie models.
