Post Gloomywood (Studios) And Thimbleweed (Park)

I'm not sure if anyone here has touched this yet, so I figured I might as well.

Both games were released this year and are about detectives solving murder cases. Although both are creepy in their own ways, it's weird just how much of a dark ambiance there is. I guess for Gloomywood it makes sense.

Thimbleweed on the other hand is a ghetto run-down town out in the middle of nowhere (not sure if that's the same for Gloomywood). Also, Gloomy is about survival horror and watching your-every-step while Thimble is just a point-and-click.

I'd say both are fun - Gloomy being voxelated and Thimble being pixelated. I just wanted to know your guys's opinions on the games, if that hasn't happened already.

I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet, both titles almost seem like they have a partnership towards each other.

I'm not saying anything in regards to what happens in the stories, or I'm going to get beat up by the 'ghetto' of MBN again.
I am a Quetch. However, I am a Mr. Quetch.
