No, it's just a ripped version.

I was lucky to find it on ebay a while ago after years of searching. It really is extremely hard to get it.

.
I got upto the last boss on Prime (1) and was stuck for weeks on it.
Then lost my save file so I never completed it.

Echoes however seem to have a steady pace, and it wasnt nearly so frustrating. I also thought the morph-ball puzzles in two were much better.

However, I agree it didnt have as much imagination in the weapons and the echo visor was cool but underused.

The sonic boom thing was fun though.

Your kidding? Prime is just like a Mega Man boss. Once you figure it out, skills are only 25% percent of it. I thought the final boss in MP2 was far more difficult because you had do to that weird beam shot, and there was time on. But of course, the boost guardian was by far the most difficult boss EVER, in ANY game. Beats the crap out of Hell in Cave Story.

EDIT: I forgot about the final part of the final battle in Metroid Prime 1. Yeah, okay, it's tough as hell. With a little strategy, it's very possible to win.

Earthbound/Mother 2. Just got started. Really awesome. Very funny, constantly. Also if they don't try. Think about it. Some kid is stronger than me, so what do I do? I go the pharmacy, and buy a larger club, to beat the crap out of him!

I am still playing Earthbound1 on a new emulator

#3 has been confirmed recently to be comeing out for the GBA.

Well, they are perfect conversions of the originals. And there is an insane amount of gamehours in it.
However, I found the gameplay got very repedative.

So it all depends how much you liked the old ones.

Frankly, imo, there not a patch on new RPGs for the system. But then, a decade is a long time for gameplay to evolve

Why not just play it on Zsnes?

Anyway, yeah, it's because of Mother 3, that I pulled out Mother 2. I think it's amazing they're bringing back the Mother games, mostly because it gives hope for other games, lost in time. I mean, who knows what old Nes and Snes games, Nintendo has left behind, that might see a revival.

Yup.
I think with the revolution's retro-download ablity, it might encourage Nintendo to bring back some stuff too.
(if they see X or Y is popular).

They certainly never let go of even their most obscure charecters.
You only have to look at the Smash Bros games to see that.

Also, thanks, but I don't have a GBA
Playing games on their original consoles is always better anyway.

Woodruff isn't really part of the Goblins serie is it? I own Woodruff aswell, never finished it. The puzzle are way too weird to understand imo. I did really like Goblins 3 aswell though. I still need to get my hands on that one .

Woodruff is a part of the series, well not a direct part maybe. The crazy humor is the same and the characters are the same style, but now they're officially humans and not goblins.

I just played a bit of Call of Duty 2. It's just another WW2 shooter though, you shoot your way through a fixed path with many nazis and sometimes you need to do something special. Quite boring. The multiplayer mode of CoD(2) is pretty popular though, so I might try that next time I'm on a lan party or something.
