Batman Begins

Best. Batman movie. Ever. Period. Can't damn well wait to see how they'll handle the Joker in the next one.

Awesome movie, but the new official danish sub was terrible. I know enough about japanese to say that "One-chan no baka" shouldn't be translated to "I'm not stupid". And the Nekobasu should just be "Catbus" and not "Kittybus". And "Baka onna" shouldn't be "Watch where you're going stupid girl!" but "Stupid girl/woman!".

In fact, the new sub, is actually an interpretation, not a translation. Hell, you can't even call it a "culturally based translation".
The English ones are really bad as well. Sometimes you get subtitles when no character actually says anything...

Batman Begins is indeed brilliant. But I haven't actually seen Tim Burton's ones, so I can't compare.

Serenity (2005) – great stuff.
Spoiler:
But very sad!

Not bad, kind of like Adaptation. but simpler.

Indeed.

Teen Titans: Trouble In Tokyo

I would've much preferred seeing a movie that would wrap up the loose ends from the series (Slade/Terra/Red X) instead of the Titans fighting some new lame supervillain. That said however, plenty entertaining like the series, though Beast Boy tended to be annoying even by my low standards.
Spoiler:
And Robin and Starfire kissed. Awwww.

The Contract
It was ok, not very special. In fact the story was quite unoriginal.

The Guardian
It was interesting, with the exception of the useless love/drama part it was quite nice.

The Great Raid
The usual war movie

The Wickerman
Nice movie, but I expected a bit more from it.

The Bridge to Terabithia ~ Terrible. Clearly a victim of miss-marketing but also a mess of a film that just cant decide what its supposed to be.
and yeah, sad.
Going to have to put on the Amelie soundtrack again to make up for it.

A movie made entirely with open source software. It's beautiful and extremely weird. Very open for interpretations.

Superman Returns – really enjoyed it. Perhaps could have done with more humour, but still very good.

I loved Superman Returns too, underated.
Also, it has a lot more humour if you watch the first two films before it
Some nice silly referances.

Hellboy: Sword of Storms ~ Reasonably good. Better then the live action film.
Still, was expectin a bit more. Felt a bit too random.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker ~ Pretty darn good, but not the best of the animated films.

Over rated! "it's a superman movie so it must be good"

Seriously, the camera men and the special effects men did a magnificent job, but everything else sucked hard.
"But I don't want him to die mommy... I like him!" - (or something like that) - a typical example of a dialog line of superman's kid.. as if kids are that stupid and innocent in real life.

Just like tons of other Hollywood productions. My all-time favorite common child actors line: "Mommy mommy! There's a bad man at the door!"
Never did I see a kid that dumb in real life.

And the main script of the movie was just enough for a lousy 20 minutes "Lois and Clark" episode. Only they stretched it over 3 hours...

The actor that played Clark Kent was lame, the actress that played Lois was extra-lame, and Superman's kid was superlame.

Anyway, my opinion...

Seriously, superman 3 and 4 sucked, whereas this is as close too the spirit and flow of the original two as possible.

The rest of what you said, is, sorry, garbage.
Imo.
There is no way that plot would remotely fit 20minutes.
A lot of other people critising/reviewing the film have said it has too much plot and not enough action.

(oh, and Lois and Clark is 40mins, btw)

A lot of the dialoge was pretty darn good, especialy the way it interelated with the whole films style of speach while in keeping with a modern context. (completely ignoreing the timescale here though, given some of the technology).

And the kid was barely a tiny fraction of the film anyway.
Luthor had far more screentime by an order of magnatude, and he was both played and scripted brillently. Doubly so the fact they kept the "Kitty" charecter for him to play off.

I think the only point I can agree with you is the main actor could have been better.
Dean Cain would have ruled

My problem with Superman Returns, is that the Superman concept in general doesn't work at all. He is vulnerable to kryptonite. That's it. It takes all the tension away, because:
a: you know when danger is afoot
and
b: you know he will never lose, because it's Superman movie

"b" would be okay, if it hadn't been for "a" ruining all the tension, or chance of anyone putting Superman in danger.

Lex Luthor was played very well, but the problem is that Kevin Spacey was still confined to that ridiculous character from the old movies, so he couldn't really do anything, because face it, ALL the old movies were terrible beyond believe.

Superman is indeed a rather lame hero.
He is just super at everything and a rock screws him.
