Here you go.

Anyway, camera oriented sprites will be needed anyway, for various light affects, smoke and such.

Btw. can you add an isometric camera? I still think LBA1 looks better that way.

If I add an isometric camera, there wont be problems anymore with billboard sprites cause as long as camera angles are constant, they always face camera. Well it's not exactly true if you consider perspective effects but it's still a good rendering.
A lot of props doesn't have textures in your map. Fences, grass, bins and barrels.
A part from that map is really amazing, congratulations. I'm already working on adding that map to the engine

nice page !
Jasiek, I had to resize some of your textures to 2^m x 2^n for graphic cards compatibility

here is the map.txt file that you have to replace (save old one to keep track of the amazing pharmacy !!!)
http://www.davidglass.fr/lsa/pool/map.zip

Edit : Remember that pressing 'r' key random the position of the bot that follows you
Jasiek : I removed a sand bag for pathfinding tests but it's just "not exported", it's still in blender file.
Scene renders faster than I thought, it's still low poly !

The barbed wire seems to have a transparency problem, I see white texture all over it.

How do I solve this problem? The mesh sticks to close to the armature.

mmm don't understand the problem
If you want to get a good tutorial for mesh rigging + animating, using the same armature that I used for twinsen, get the DVD Learn Character Animation Using Blender
It's clear and easy to understand

What's wrong with the barbed wire texture? And I still think the grass sprites I added are better, the ones you placed there don't fit, especially not on the dirt...

In the screenshot by David it looked fine.
In GoofyLife's demo it looked like this:

Well anyway, here's the file with all the missing textures in place.

If something is wrong it's Twinsens size - the maps basic geometry is exactly like it is in LBA1.

Kobold: That problem accured when moving models from Blender to Unity, cause Unity reads Alpha channels for transparency, so I made the alpha channels myself to make the streetlights, trees and fences look ok, but have not done anything to the barberwire, so don´t worry, it´s suppose to look alot better, but there are alot of things in the unity demo that needs to be fixed. I guess twinsen is scaled incorrectly as well

Edit: The Unity thingie is just a playground as it is very easy to put together, what david is working on is much greater, but I guess it will take more time before you get a playable demo (just guessing, cus I have no clue ).
It´s just a teaser ´till you get the big present =)

David, I tried it in the engine Looks cool.
However!
I don't think that water fits, we have an ocean here and it looks like a river.

I like mine better.

Here's the code from GameStudio for the wobbly grass - now I know the code itself is probably a WHOLE LOT different, but I think you may use the principle.
It moves the grass gently, instead of animating the sprites - it has a huge advantage because you only use one image file for the grass. I used the same piece of code for the trees:

my.skill6=random(360);
my.skill3=my.x;
my.skill4=my.y;
my.skill5=my.z;
while(1)
{
my.tilt=my.skill1*cos(my.skill6);
my.skill6+=my.skill2*time;
my.skill6=cycle(my.skill6, 0, 360);

my.x=my.skill3+(((my.max_z)*cos(my.tilt+90))*cos(my.pan));
my.y=my.skill4+(((my.max_z)*cos(my.tilt+90))*sin(my.pan));
my.z=my.skill5-(((my.max_z)-(my.max_z)*sin(my.tilt+90)));
wait(1);
}
}

You're right. It will takes 10 more time to make a playable demo rather than using a game editor but ... I like coding and control everything . Also game executable keeps small and I use few libraries (DLL). Finally I use only free tools.
But sincerely I think it's good to see two ways of developing the game, I enjoy playing your demo !

No problem Jasiek
I'm about to write my first LUA interface just to let you code your own grass, smoke, and tree behaviour scripts. I spent last few days understanding LUA/C++ mechanism and it's really a cool combination.

The objects you move are simply the one in blender. Depending on their name, they will be interpreted as a sprite, a dynamic object, or static scene.

I had to replace empty texture by something to allow map export, I used a grass sprite for all of them !! Now I have the missing textures I'll correct that and upload the new map.txt

Here, they're there, plus the information thingie. And a new sprite for pebbles.

Btw. it looks to me like Twinsen should be 3 units high and from the top he should be 1.5 x 1.

well, now you finished the map what are your plans ? Do you feel like starting another one while I develop ? Like the other parts of the citadel ?
You made a really nice work, congratulations !

Edit : well I see there are still missing posters, pharmacy symbol, palm tree, some rocks ... but you're very close of getting it finished !
