Making maps is EXTREMELY difficult (at least for me). You need to have a lot of pacience. Unless you are up at taking this chalange you should be making levels.

Well, I'm working on the classic () dock's map again. I must say, once you get it, it's not too hard. The hardest thing is getting the scales right (I always do this wrong). The building itself is fun to do, once you know how, it's almost like Lego®. I'm now working on it everyday, and you can see it grow and get better and better.

Oh, and I'm probably going to buy HalfLife tomorrow:
HalfLife + Opposing Force + CounterStrike for $30. Good deal?

----------
Sorry a bit Off Topic (But its the coolest 3D programme I have seen .
I have used lods of 2D editers (Red Alert 2:Final Alert,Heroes of Might and Magic 2/3,Dungeon Keeper...err..Worms)
I have only use one 3d game editer, and thats the one for Homeworld Catyclysm (comes with it).And I can do levels
for Quake easy (3d studio exports the files!!)

Homepage: http://www.lba-dm.co.uk/

although it has not been updated for a long time. you can join whenever you want to, but it will not be officially posted on the site.

Silverfish who is the current leader of the project said that he would continue the works on the project soon.....if you want to contact him personally, his e-mail address is posted in the homepage.

P.S. I have began the level on Twinsun's House.....so far the progress have been very minor.

No, that is a 3D Studio Max render done by Webseed for an art competition.

This is a Half-life map I did a while ago of Twinsen's house from LBA2. I did it to give an example of what level of detail could be achieved. I also did Luc's bar, but I can't find any shots I did of that, and I don't have HL on my system right now.

Well if your serious about helping out with this MOD then wait until I can get all my stuff organised cause it's all stored in archives at the moment.

This particular map was never intended for inclusion, just an quality benchmark. You need Qoole99 and the lates LBA2 WADs to view it, also on compile you run into a couple of clipping errors.
