Really strange. It should work. Try uploading it on another server and link it from there.

Ok, I've send you an Email with 2 pictures

For the future, I still would like to find a solution that supports me to directly post a JPEG file. What work arounds exist?

Try to store it as a .jpg (if you had .jpeg) or vice versa, nout.

The rabbibunnie and the grobo are looking dope! The sphero's arms are.. well... a bit odd looking. Otherwise: Great job!

BTW: There won't be a lot of indoor levels, because of the small size. So if you're starting to get the hang of mapping, I'd suggest making outdoor areas (which haven't been made yet--> see the LBA_DM Homepage).

Thanks for all comments!

In fact I already started on an outdoor level, but it's still too primitive to show. In this level you find a house and when you walk into the door, you come in the small room you see in the picture above.

The flame you see there is a real 3D animated one, of course moving + giving light etc...

I hope to have something showable by mid of June

The room is directly from the game, the models not
Program used for modeling is Milkshape
Game engine RF
I hope to be able to publish a small AVI in 2 or 3 weeks

I have requested for a project on this forum, but due to that fact that I have no private site, it seems to be refused
Strange policy. Do you understand this?

Well, if you want to have a personal (project) forum, you've got to have a homepage of that project. El can't just create a forum for every LBA project. There needs to be some progress first.

But: You don't need another forum, right? You're in this project?

Well, I don't know
I think I've shown more progress with my pictures than I have seen elsewere on this full forum, not?

As I recall, your project is more dedicated to making a copy of an existing LBA, and over internet also using a different engine

I'm focussed on making the game itself.
It's not too fair to you guys that I stay putting my stuff into your forum, not really working on the same thing

But maybe I can open my own thread on this project, can I? In this way I at least do not mess up the messages linked to your project and still can have my project forum on this forum !

Well, if you're going to make your own game and, indeed, you've shown progress already, I guess you'll be put up on the list for getting your own forum.
Anywayz, you can (of course) always make a new thread in the Fan Creations - General, or something. Until you've gotten your place on the MBN.

LBA-DM maps are made with the standard editor (I believe it's Worldcraft). As long as you use a HL map making program (from which you know works in Half-Life) I guess it's fine.

I PM'd you the link for downloading the .wad files containing textures made by me and enhanced by Nights000.

I'll try it...

If you give it to me

---

You can do maps which haven't been done yet. Citadel Island is in progress. Just check http://www.geocities.com/lba_dm
and then the about tab for progress. Things which are on hold can be done by someone else (you)

Don't worry about textures, yet. First the models are made and then the texturing will come. Textures don't really have a high priority. You can use default ones and later change it.

U can only attach files smaller than 100kb and it has to have some of the following extensions:
gif jpg png txt zip jpeg

Perhaps that was the problem.
