Japanese LBA 1 playthrough
So, I just stumbled upon this playthrough on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llVgyXBDaqI . It's done by someone from Japan (from the voice seems female, but I could be wrong), and it seems to show the Japanese PSX version of the game. It's in more than 10 parts, so quite a long watch.

No, read my first post please. I think this was done with the PS1 version, it even mentions a "memory card" at the beginning.

Wow, not only texts have been translated, but the game was also dubbed to japanese. Didn't expect that.

- Streg: The dub is the exact same as of the PC versions. I've been saying for some years now that not only was the game dubbed to Japanese, but that I personally find the Japanese voices the best of all LBA 1 voices since they have, in my opinion, the most emotions.

Battle, are you sure its the PSX version?
Because it doesn't look so: 1. Twinsen's looks like PC version (PSX versions uses Twinsen from LBA2). 2. No memory card option of PS while creating a new game. 3. No loading imagem only available on PSX version. 4. No inventory item overlay on screen (magic, life points, coins)

- alexfont: The Japanese PSX version is different from the European one. The Japanese PSX version is much closer to the PC version as regards the models.
And the memory card is mentioned at the start, though as the message is in Japanese, the word "memory card" is writtten in katakana.

It clearly says "accessing memory card" (メモリーカード・アクセス中) at the beginning.
Watching a little bit of it: Where's the nurse that presses the red switch right after you break out of your cell? He doesn't seem to be present in here. Last edited by Kobold; 2013-08-03 at 04:20.
