Weird, I now also get prompted for a password. Previously that wasn't the case. Maybe some settings have been accidently changed?

thanks Kobold for all that bug reports (perhaps will include you in the team, without being respectless to Obras ^^).
I'll have to modify that, i think you'll get all that bug fixed in the demo v1.1 ^^

I saw the video and am blown away. Kudos to you guys. Amazing stuff.

It has the LBA feeling, atmosphere, and stays true to the game. Ultimate LBA expansion pack.

The music sounds different though. I dont think it's the CD audo, is it the music from the floppy disc version?

Great work guys. Really nice demo you have here so far. I didn't play for myself but I'll as soon as possible to give you some feedback. From the movie, it looks fantastic.

Keep going guys...

Played it!

But my LBA-installation was bad so it was without music so it lost some feeling. But as for the demo, it was fantastic, great job guys, will for sure play it again when I get a machine with music!

story whise; you should always try to keep the player
at the same place a little while before letting them explore new places,
it makes them familiar with the scenes and storyline as well as you wont have
to model a whole lot of worlds as you would if the player spend 5 minutes in each.
Visiting the shop before seeing the boat will make people buy
the hammer without knowing what it´s for, and making the pieces of
the puzzle fall in place in the wrong order, how about something like;

No hammer for sale in the shop;
You visit the boatman and he says you must get a hammer before he can fix the boat and go to Lupin;
You go to the shop and the salesman says he sold the last one to that yellow quetch outside.
He will give it to you, but only if you find his lost coin which he lost down the manhole.
You take the manhole lift down, do some stuff there;
Finds coin;
Give to him and get hammer;
Fix boat;
End of demo.

Alternativly the yellow quech dont know where he lost it;
The rabbibunny at the garbage will help look for it, but wants fish to eat first;
Go to a fisher man and get a fish, give to garbage man,
and he finds the coin in the garbage.
get hammer
fix boat
end demo

or mix something together, go wild! Maybe you´ll do something with "Fergus inventions", or save it for a later scene.

what´s the thing with the landmine?
Or the blue line disappearing as he repairs the boat?

-let some inhabitants tell some info or stories about the island or other
islands to give it personality.

Game mechanics works great except for some dialog problems like long wait time or inapropriate answers.

Other than that... Love the demo, kinda gives old fans new life to the world =)
Nice project! Love it!

I just tried it out, and I loved it ! Unfortunatly, for some reason the sound wasn't working, but I think it's due to my comp. Else, as a grid-maker, I saw one bug, there isn't any shadow under the bed in the house of Twinsen, neither under any furniture. Else, I liked it a lot, especially Twinsen's new clothes and that bridge thing, the one under which the yellow sphero goes.

It's not that I've got a good eye, it's that I've designed some grids for the TGR project ^^ .

I liked this so much, now I would like to join... Is it still possible ?

I just wanted to say GoofyLife's post is very true I think the demo would seriously improve from those changes.
I copied it for further reference, as I'm currently making a game at my uni.

Btw, if you want a bug tracking system at http://sacredcarrot.xesf.net like other LBA projects, let me know. It can help you guys track all the issues found in the game.

Just create the project under LBA Modification Project at http://sacredcarrot.xesf.net/mantis

You need to create your account there so I can make you a developer of your project.

Btw Vindish, you already register and I already set your account to this project. I notice you use a user named "Vindish2" because your previous one had a wrong e-mail address. Do you want me to change it to "Vindish" and delete the previous user?

Its to specify which OS you use. In some cases it can help fix some issues. Ofcourse in this case you don't need it.

I add you and Vindish as manager in that project so you have fully control with it.
You can ask people to report bugs/features/requests there or if you also want, you can make your own there to track everything you want to change in the game.

Wow, one week end without my comp and we receive a lot of feedbacks ^^

Goofylife, you're right, lot of those ideas could make the demo longer, and of course the island exploration. But, as a secret, we have a plan for this island, so i think we'll use all your ideas for the whole game ^^.
But, just for MBN community, and to thanks you togive so many feedback, i'll perhaps insert those ideas in a new version of the demo ^^

Polaris, I didn't see Necd this week end, but as first sight, there is no problem for you to join our team. Think you have to MP us to clarify what you can help for.

Alexfont, i really thanks you for your offer, i appreciate your wish to helmp us.
You are right, i'd like to get the account "Vindish" ^^

hey there i just found a way to re costumize your LID twinsen =P
well here you will learn in 3 basic steps how to make you lupin island destiny twinsen get the Asylum clothes =)
1- install lba1 with lbawin (i dont know if it works with lbawin, i tried with another lbawin that i got from lbahq)
2-install your LID demo
3-try installing it again without uninstalling lba ( at same folder at couse)
DONE! now you twinsen have asylum clothes and the music got a bit of lag =P
how i discovered this? simple i didnt made a backup of lba when i installed lid and i tried to install it again with the lba i got from lbahq without deleting the old lba and i got these results .
(this is just a funny thing that i found, im not messing with u guys)
