i was just looking at the previous lba dm and most of u forum ppl were on it and i was just wondering what happened? and is there a beta?

Officially (as requested by WebSeed) I am the current leader of the LBA-DM project. But that version kinda died and never really got going when Webseed was around.

Nights00 has done enough work on it to get the title of current leader of the parallel version of LBA-DM. But u can't say "Give me a beta now" because there isnt one. It's not complete, u can't give out something that doesnt exist. RMP is the main project here at the moment. Although personally I dont believe the leader of that project has actually done any animating yet and will be at university next year so RMP is screwed too and will never be released. I think everyone should know the truth

Well, the "leader" of the project has actualy done the animating for all the bits thats actualy ready to be animated.
ie.
Just the genesis of twinsun.
Its pointless animating the rest fully till the scripts for them are done.
Its asking for trouble if you start doing the first bits without knowing the last bits.

And as for university, I'm doing a 3D Computer Animation course at portsmouth (or maybe Swansea).
I'll most likely use scenes from the RMP in any course work I do.
I dunno much about the work load of the course, but I really don't think it will be as much as I have now.
I've been told by others at university you have much more free time. (and me, being a complete nerd, will spend that on RPM work )

rmp - relentless movie project
nice idea yeah i agree release the beta...
nice try there is only beta 0.75 and that really is only a limited variation of half life multiplayer that i quickly through together to see models and levels working in an akin environment.
i suddenly have the urge to carry on programming so i will try to finish at least the programming side of the beta.
the models and level i will need more time and help to achieve.
anyone voulenteering. nah thought not
everyone wants this but few are willing to help and i know its because everyone is tied up in the rmp but even newbies that arn't cant be bothered to learn.
i saw the project and wanted it finished so i pitched in and learnt from scratch to program, build levels and model in about 4 weekends its not hard you just need to try
oh well ive been preeching for too long ill see you guys in a while.
next time im back ill release beta 1.00

I figured u'd be doing physics or something at Uni. I like 3D animation and stuff but im gonna be doing Analytical Chemsitry at UCL or Birmingham no room for 3D there. But I will still be able to do stuff in my spare time now and then I think.

a looooooong time ago, on a message board far far away a young boy named Silverfish came on the bright idea to create a Half-life Deathmatch featuring LBA characters

soon, this project went further with Webseed, than Phoenix and eventually Nights000 and Homer sank their teeth in it.

I finished my exams some time ago allrdy, so I've got time enough
I will resume work on my map next week, might give you some new models. We'll see, I still want to help and still want to make a T2-mod, now if only I didn't have this much other things to do

Yeah, I was working on some sprites yesterday (have holidays now, too), but the colourscheme kept f***ing up. I don't really get why, but my white colours kept getting orange, or red ingame. I'll have to figure out why, later.
