Jasiek, these images could help you with making the grobos` and all other characters` hands
I`m making the characters for LBAx with this kind of hands and I can say that this shape is suitable for all races.Feel free to use my idea.

Thanks!
I'm going to do a model pack in a few days, with all the models I made, so you can download it, and feel free to use any of them in any way(just give me credit ) I thought about doing the grobo hand in a different way, I'll draw a pict in paint to let you see wat I mean. But I don't know really what to do with it, maybe your way, to give it a hand like that is better, but you know, my twinsen model has finger, so the rabbibunnies, quetches and the spheros will have to have normal hands- with separate fingers.

Amazing.
My only comment is about Twinsen's face: his mouth (lips and teeth) somehow doesn't look right.

There's no latest one Yet only 0,3.
Now it's Christmas, Barszcz z uszkami, pierogi, ryba (fish) ( try to say it :P (it's in polish))

O'k I'm back, yeah, I know, his lips look a little weird, well, the model is not ready yet, also, the old animation is gone, and I can't make a new one
So my remake still uses the old model.

Oh, what do you people think about the ferry model ?

Really really amazing!

But 1 thing: could you open the eyes of Twinsen just a little more? He still looks a bit tired...

Jasiek,my Twinsen has fingers too,but my idea with this kind of hand modelling is because of keeping the polycount low

In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.

The second tunic color is better. (the darker one)

The second one is better indeed. Another thing I noticed: the shoes, did Twinsen really wear shoes? I always thought he walked on naked feet.

You can see it in the game, the feet have a different colour then the skin, in fact, the feet have the same colour as the belt the medalion hangs on, and the belt around Twinsens waist.

And Jasiek, did you found a proper name for this project already ?
Or do you just stick to citadel island?

Horadrim, I was just curious I just wonder if for you, animating the tunic is a pain also, vertices stick at directions I don't want to Right now, i think that I'm going to do him normal clothes, becouse legs and arms are easier to animate,
ad of course we start LBA 1 without the Tunic.

Bot13, I think, that for now, It;s going to be LBA1 remake - Part 1:Citadel Island, or something like that, and when all the islands are finished, it's going to be just LBA 1 remake

Jasiek, the animating is not pain, when you`re sure that you`ve assigned the bones correctly to the mesh.A spetial element in the whole animating process is the mesh itself. When you make it you must imagine how exactly it will deform from the bones,I mean when you cut polygons, when you add some extra polys and vertices, you must have in mind the way they`ll deform, twist or whatever they`re supposed to do.
When I`m rigging a mesh I assign vertex by vertex to their proper bone. It`s slow work but you`ll be sure that no unexpected deformations will happen.
The easy way to make the tunic is to use a box object, separated from three polygons.
So at the bottom of the tunic you`ll have four vertices, which you can assign to the leg bones (I`m talking for the ankles). So you`ll have two vertices for the left ankle and two for the right one.Ofcourse you should experiment to retrieve the best result

Well, you know, the assigning of the bones for the legs is not the problem, it's the arms that give me a pain, becouse everytime I move the arm (and the bone is assinged correctly) there is a large, space at the back of the arm that gets twisted. And in this program, I can only use the bone animation, A connot animate separate polygons, once I use bones. So I cannot correct the bone animation with moving the vertices I'm just better at modelling than at animating, but I will have to do it eventually Now I'm doing Zoe. The only thing that I'm a bit jelous is the "Hud" in your project. I already figured out, that I will need 4 models with four different sets of animations, and put a line of code in the hud to display the four models. But I'm not much of a coder so it's hard work.

Jasiek, when someone is using the bone modelling, there`s no chance to animate polygons or vertices.I`m animating only bones.I`ve never animated separate subobjects from the mesh.
If you have problems with the animating of the arms, then you probably have mistaken something in the mesh.If you want send me a wirefreme from different angles of the torso of your Twinsen.I`ll show you where and what to correct,so you`ll retrieve the best result.
I spent 7 moths in modelling and animating the characters for LBAx (and I have very much work left),so probably I could help you if you let me ofcourse
