Just a small note:
the release of the last patch is postponed due to...
(this is not so professional) the fact that I'm ill (quite bad) so for a few days I can't work on it.
Bye

Mad Aeon you seem to be getting ill alot.
Perhaps you should consider taking vitamin tablets? I take them in the mornings and i am, on average only sick once a year. Or just improving your diet...
It's just that all my friends at school are always taking days off because they are sick, when i am always there.

'Dude', don't you think that if a peice of fruit was more nutricious than a vitamen tablet, then they would eat it instead? You'de have to eat 15 peices of fruit to be equivelant to one tablet. It was just a suggestion, why do people have to critisise someone elses advise? I know people that have a large knowledge on the health and nutrition, and they say it helps building up the ammune system alot more then any naturaly produced food.
So if for some reason if you have a poor diet or a supressed apitite, it is a very smart decision.

Rather offtopic not?
It depends however what tablets you take, a lot of them contain junk. Then there's also the problem of the artificial vitamines versus the natural (which the body takes up faster).

Anyway, hope you get better

Yeah, this is very off-topic.

True, he must be pretty sick if he can't program.

Tested the game now, pretty good. However, the animations are a bit.. 'Jerky' in my opinion. Sometimes when Twinsen runs, his sporty animation restarts. When he exists the house (pardon if this was already posted), through the main door, he'll suddenly freeze, gp back then, he can't reach up the stairs but can walk through the walls of the house. (The idea of Twinsen having a ball instead of a hand helped polygons probably.)

Just that, I got used to Lba 2 animations more than anything, they're pretty flawless in terms of 'moving'. If you catch my drift. (Not by grabbing air mind you. )

Yeah, i liked Twinsen with his ball-like fists and his doll looking head. I don't think the hand models are going to work out in the long run. From what Horadrim told me, the hands have to stay in a fixed position (due to skeleton limitations) which he chose to have as and flexed, open hand. If he cannot close his hand to make a fist, then he cannot fight like he did in LBA 1, & 2. He would have to either only kick, or do hand strikes like; karate chops, palm-heal strikes etc.. Which in my opinion is not really LBA's style. If anything if Twinsen's hands were going to be in any 1 position it would be slightly contracted just like a normal relaxed hand would, not with fingers stiking out.
(Sorry, Horadrim, but remember that this is only constructive criticism, it is alot better to speak our thoughts, then keep them to ourselves on this project)

About Twinsen hands, I thought that Horadrim was thinking about adding skeletal structure and animation to them too..

I usually make my models and animations by plan.Firstly I think I said that this Twinsen model is just a how to say "pre-early" version, which means that it`s far from the final model, which I already made one month ago (you won`t see it until the release of the full part 1,which actually is the full demo version). The final Twinsen model is premodelles, has bones in his fingers and the animations with the punches are now really LBAish.About the head,mad_aeon wanted from me to make it look like the pre-rendered animations from LBA1,since this was his request I`ll leave it as is,that`s all.
Since this should be a new LBA game, lets leave the "doll head" for the older games. You`ll see this kind of design in the rest of the quetches in the game,so this is our plan with Davide and we won`t change it.
About the constructive criticism,I don`t mind it,but in a condition if it is not abussive like this with the "jerky" animations. They`re looking jerky, not because of me,it`s because of a bug in the engine and it`s already fixed by mad_aeon.
