Guessing Game (winner gets a game ;)

Heya fellow MBN members and LBA lovers. Coming back from nearly 2 years on hiatus and am not surprised to see the MBN community slowly dying. I thought i could spice things up.

This game is a guessing game as aforementioned in the title above. I'll be thinking of a character and it will be your sole duty to try and think who it could be. Initially the only clue you will get initially is The game (LBA 1 or 2) Then if I see people are struggling i'll mention the island in which the character is mainly located and then the scene (if you have already used up your one guess initially, another guess will be allotted for you after the second hint and a third after that

Don't fancy your chances? The second part is much easier and involves guessing any of the 40 or so items from eith LBA1 Or 2. Unfortunately you only get 1 guess and if the post goes on for more than 3 days the person who guessed the item closest to the one i'm thinking of (horizontally) in the inventory wins, if there is a tie both will get the prize

Note: It is possible to do both challenges at once, like so:

Yea... that's the guy I was talking about. He is the runner who steals the umbrella, and also the "big brother" of the girl who gets bullied by you in the school

Now that I stopped to think, If myself or Polaris were correct, It would be a tie...

And btw, should I use Were or Was?

Well both will do, but for me were has a better ring to it in this context. The only problem I have Is that if you best every kid their respective brothers come throttle you. If I recall correctly you can have all come beat you up simultaneously... Or am I mistaken?

Essentially what i'm saying is that there are 3 "big brothers"

it's pretty risky actually

If you don't have another save game and you don't have much hp and only no clovers you can get stuck in that damn kindergarde or you have to start the game again

There are several big brothers/father who come to beat you up. I believe that green grobo also comes.

marcos : I think "was" and "were" are the past forms of "am" and "are", you have to use it accordingly : I was - you were - he/she/it was - we were - they were.

That is known to me, but look at the problem in the sentence:

"Now that I stopped to think, If myself or Polaris were correct, It would be a tie... "

"If Polaris was Correct"
"If I was correct"
"If Myself Or Polaris were correct"

Can you see the problem? Does the "Or" influentiate to turn the sentence to plural, or does it not? I know that if it was And, then there would be no problem on adding the "were", but what about "Or"?

I would say was... It's either one or the other, but only one is correct, not both at the same time...

Why don't they teach us that kind of grammar in school ? Through interesting examples !

All of the english I know I have taught by myself, so I always had some silly questions like that... sorry about it
