Valhalla
Watership Down (Also the TV show)

Some I don't like are LOTR (Animated) and Final Fantasy

By the title of this thread, I was expecting such films as "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" or "Baseketball."

I rarely get to the movies (read that as never get to them) and I downloaded Monsters Inc. for the hell of it. I was expecting it to be crap but I actually thought it was really good.

Shrek's cool
Final Fantasy was good, but could have been better (For all you Final Fantasy Freaks with a good connection, I strongly recommand downloading the Final Fantasy Unlimited series, those are exactly what the Final Fantasy movie should have been)

Hmm Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... I still need to see that one (Morden, I presume you've also seen Dogma?)

I really like computer graphics movies, they're smooth and beautiful. And most of the above titles have excellent humour. Shrek was super funny and Monsters Inc. had a very original concept.

You all forgot Ice Age, quite a funny movie

. Also lots of deep-level jokes, like when the kid sees an iced UFO, he makes the Spock-greeting (Star Trek) to it (didn't know about this until I read about it).

I saw Antz without subtitles the first time, and Woody Allen's quick soft babbling was hard for me to follow. When I read some quotes on IMDb I got the jokes

and re-saw the movie, a lot better that time. I found it cool to see who did the voices in that movie, you don't see Woody Allen, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Lopez together in a movie every day

I enjoyed watching Final Fantasy: TSW, although I was more gazing at the graphics than being stunned by the story. The ending was quite ok though.

Secret of NIMH was a novel about experimental lab rats whose IQs are dramatically raised during their experimentation. The story mostly revolves around how the rats attempt to build their own civilization and view humanity though their own eyes.

Yeah, I loved reading that story, people defined it as childish etc. as I had to read it in primary school, it isn't really like that though :P

I'm a massive Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) fan, and I've seen Dogma and Mallrats as well as JASBSB. (Dogma was bloody fantastic.) However, I've still yet to see Clerks and Chasing Amy, the two other Smith films in the "View Askew series.

Good to see a fellow Kevin Smith fan on the boards.

Oh, and for the record, Shrek did NOT suck.

hmmm i think macross plus is a great anime aimed at the adults.
its has a adult story line >> no pron or nothnig but its just a nice story for adults...... i mean, ffs even my dad liked it.

if you want good comedy i suggest shrek, and disneys The Emperors New Groove
