Honestly, i was disappointed with everyone, i hate to be pesimistic but the xbox one will fail except for halo fanboys, the ps3 is decent but it'll have DRM, the wii u is the only good console, but no one is developing for it. I'll only buy the wii u this generation but will probably stick to pc gaming >.<.

I have to agree. Microsoft made everyone else look better, but no one was really great this time.
Even on PC there wasn't much.

Then again, E3 has been getting smaller and less important for awhile now - the fact that the big boys didn't show much of interest doesn't necessarily mean there isn't more still to show over the next few months.

Thats ok, no other countries exist

Incidentally; you better not get banned from xbox live now, as all your offline games are tied to your account too :P

I'm just waiting for Microsoft to fail so hard at sales that they will have to rethink about this one-time-activation thing.

The tweet you are (?) refering to was about the Xbox360 actually.

By the way, how is most of this different from Steam?

I don't think steam selects its buyers from countries... Plus you can play offline.

Just read the 2013 prediction thread, I stumbled on this, posted by Darkflame :
"* Microsoft will surprise everyone with some really cool tech for their next xbox."
You almost got that right

Actually, I can sort of claim that to be true; The new Kinect is pretty amazing. It can tell your pulse-rate just by looking at you.

I think for most people its about value too. You cant resale on steam, but also things are much much cheaper so thats less a big deal.

Also, I dont think you can get banned from Steam, just individual online games.

That just shows how much Microsoft failed before and after E3...
I already expected something like that, but not such high number

I can't understand that either. I hate the fact that they did Insanely bad with the Xbox One and E3, but I can't hate the brand for that. I like the windows, and I like how everything is compatible with it, so I have Almost no problem with Microsoft

It's like saying that you hate Mizo for all the horrible milk they make/sell

edit : You posted in-between Lupin.
You can hate those who tell them these information, but why consider the brand itself as a human ? It's a big entity of several human beings, you can hate the humans in there, but the brand... I don't know, it feels too impersonal... Like hating a cup manufacturer, because 1 or 100 (doesn't matter) have a leak...

Microsoft always has holes they dont patch, so im not completly surprised by this. You can go onto any hack forum and prolly find everything they leaked to the nsa and more

That's awfully general, refer to the second half of my post for an answer on that matter.

Even if a company releases a ton of bad products doesn't mean that their next product won't be awesome. And the opposite is also true.

Oh it's not meant to be surprising, it's meant to give reasons to, if not hate, at least disapprove or even despise certain companies' values...

I tend to disagree with that. Such big companies are built around certain ideas and values, and they are not likely to change overnight.

Sure, it gives a tendency, but not a guarantee, look at EA, who could've predicted that they implement their game-checking system ?
