Stargate Universe "Incursion" parts 1/2 - meh.
Doctor Who "The Lodger" - Fun, allthough with some clear plotholes.

You're the "meh"!!! :P
I liked both parts of the season finale. Although I do think there was at least one plot-hole (with th whole air venting thing).

Well, I just didn't think enough happened for a season final.
It had the ingredients, but didn't feel epic. Much of the plot could have been fit into half the length, maybe even a quarter.
The one thing I did like though was some of Rushs comments though. He sometimes comes across a bit of the voice of the audience.

Doctor Who S1Epp12 "The Pandorica Opens" - That. Was. Utterly. Insanely. Awesome.
That was liquid awesome on-top of incredible. It nicely tied together a few plotlines, had a fantasic core idea and ended with the most insanely over the top cliffhanger I have ever seen, replacing even Farscape's great ones.
Theres no way on earth Moffat can resolve those cliffhangers neatly. No way.
But I look forward to seeing him try.

oh, and screw it all, I'm calling this Doctor Who Series 1 :P or 1AM (after Moffat)

Modern Family s1 - Pretty "American" if you get what I mean, but I had some literal laugh-out-louds while watching it. I wonder if it's been renewed?

Breaking Bad s1+s2 - Quite nice. I don't always understand some of the characters and their actions, and the plot moves a bit slow at points, but altogether it's a very engaging show. In the middle of s3 now.

The Good Guys (2010) s1e01 - Didn't really enjoy it, but I might try another episode.

Family Guy s8e21 (didn't air in USA because of abortion, lol) - nice

Futurama s6e01 - Pretty nice. Kind of a meh episode, but it's good to be back.

The IT Crowd s4e01 - Excellent!

Futurama/IT Crowd - Entertaining. Not at their best, but also still very much laughworthy.

Warehouse 13 S2Epp1- Fun. I was relieved that when the hooded figure was unfrozen it wasn't Spoiler:
Dracular
or other crap like that. Spoiler:
A female HG Wells is a far more fun villan
. Still, that aside, its still all a bit predictable.

Eureka - S4Epp1 Above average for the show. Much like the above, predictable to some extents. Ending in a quasi-reboot. (without it being a shock like Primeval managed). Still worth it for some casual sci-fun.

Is it just me or do all the casual/light sci-fi shows run at the same time?
Theres nothing "epic" at the moment, just as a few months back there wasn't anything comady/fun.
==

Anyway, for those interested heres an excelent (spoiler-ific) diagram of the Doctor Who final;

Spoiler:

Warehouse 13 "02x05" -
Eureka "04x05" -
Spoiler:
You know, I love cross overs. I know they are pretty much mostly a cheap way to cross-fertilizes viewer-ship and hopefully improve ratings for both shows. But its still nice to see two universe's collide. To make a fictional world bigger and to see how the character interact.
So, overall, I love that Eureka and Warehouse 13 are now in the same universe. The shows fit well enough in tone. Both soft sci-fis, one more towards futuristic, the other more towards steam-punk.
The dissapointment is the crossover is only really one character hopping each way. Seems a bit underwealming, even if it does make sense plotwise with one episode timed after the other.
There is some funny moments in both episodes, and I while found Eureka more entertaining of the two they both entertained. But I can't help thinking a common plot-arc between the two might have worked better, rather then effectively just "character visits and helps out". It could have been more, well, epic.

Still, I do hope they do more in future.

Lost "Epilogue" - A short, official 12 minute epilogue to the show set shortly after the end of the last season.
Its basically Hurley and Ben "tyeing up lose ends".
Not bad actually, although they waste far to much time on the bloody polar bears which really didn't need any explanation.

Stitching a bad story...I already managed to forget about that silly show.
The Walt stitching is worst.

Walt was pyshic, and therefor usefull, his father got him of the island. End of story.
Much like the polar bears, I never understood why anyone wanted the character back or with further explanation.

That said, they did cover a lot of stuff I liked in relatively short time.
I think I could have done better myself though....

Quote:
I would've liked a better explanation on Walt's job.
To play blackgammon :P
Spoiler:
Well, if he is helping his father...who we know is stuck amongst the islands dead...it must be to help people out of that "stuck" place.
Dunno how though.

Sherlock (BBC 2010) 1/2/3 - 3x90 minute episode, very nice stuff. Modern retailing of Sherlock Holmes, but feels very fresh. Not the normal unimaginative mess these "reimaginings" can turn out to be. Great writing/acting, very nice characters and some interesting directing choices.
I look forward to a longer series being commissioned!

Nice.
But nothing beats the classical SG1 theme.

The Deep parts 1/2/3 (BBC)- Thats...pretty good. Its a bit like defying gravity, only under the water. Serious near future drama/slight sci-fi.

aaaaaaaaaaarrghhh just saw the 3rd episode and that bloody guy who was supposed to bring the motherboard took ages looking around his wifes crap while all the others were going to die from the core blowing up and him ignoring all the radio requests. Most annoying person ever.

The Deep - Good, but not great. Certainly not up there with defying gravity, but nevertheless a good stab at a realistic serious near-future (today?) hard scifi.
That said;
Spoiler:
God, a tad depressing. Did so many people have to die? Gezz...
At least let that girl in the sub at the end live! She could have popped up though the hole in the ice the explosion made.... -sigh-

---
The Event -S1Epp1 - Undecided as yet. Will need more to go on. So far it seems rather 24-ish only with a non-liner order of events. Perhaps a bit too non-liner in fact.
The last few seconds did come as a big shock though, and certainly hocked me till next week.

I've recently been re-united with the sitcoms Fawlty Towers and Blackadder, and I also saw a few episodes of 'The IT Crowd'. All hilariously funny and I doubt Fawlty can be beaten but what other BBC/British comedies would you guys recommend?

~edit: I've seen Monty Python's flying circus (some sketches at least), and the films.

SPACED - Very unique, weird, but funny and packed with film references.
Father Ted - Very very silly, great fun.
Black Books - Darker/more sarcastic humour.
Look Around You (series1) - A spoof of old british school educational science programs.
Coupling - Sitcom. Probably closest in style in US comedy, but very smartly written.
