Dinofly CD/DVD problem

Hey guys,I recently found my LBA2 European Version CD while exploring my dad's 400 disk-player,and I was immediately excited and cleaned it,put it in the drive, and waited for the install message to come up...

A few seconds,nothing,a few minutes...nothing either.

What could be the issue here? It's like the drive suddenly decides to read disks then ignore them a day later,it's ridiculous! It doesn't read any other disks, and I tried AutoPlay, but that yielded no results, and I have both patches for Vista sitting in my Desktop for the time to come when I need them, but I just need the Cd-Drive to work!

Please help!

My 2 cents(which isn't worth very much)
Sounds like a problem with your CD-Drive rather than LBA, since you say you can't read any other CDs.

I know my DVD-Drive decided one day to stop reading DVDs(yet could still read CDs, it was quite odd), might be the same type of thing?

It's the same patch,I think it's in the quick links, and it IS a problem with my DVD/CD drive,it won't read anything,I put in my Call of Duty CD and it won't read,Unreal Tournament, same thing,I'm asking if there is a fix to this,or if I need to find my other drive and install it.

and Direct X?

Pshoff,I'm using an Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX with DX10 installed,I think I'm fine

We don't just lock threads when we feel like it, only when there is some major spamming going on. Unneeded threads are just left to die by themselves.
