Smile New Guy To The Community!

Hi!

I have joined up to the community to help take part for a petition on LBA3!

But first I like to introduce myself, because i expect every person here has their own encounter with the LBA game, however, I first played the game when i was roughly ten years old (LBA2). Unfortunately, still from today i have not tried LBA1 due to the problems i get with Windows XP (yep got LBA1 on PC CD-Rom).

Anyway, i'm from London (an Arsenal supporter :P) and like to say hello .

And.....Yep, my hobby is mostly to do with animation. So perhaps in time, I will be making a LBA movie (however i will need a story from it. I know some here are good writers ) At the moment I am making episode of the first Narnia book, so once I have that off my chest, I probably will make an animation on LBA.

(PS: Can anyone guide me to get LBA1 working on XP? I tried reading something before....but its way to confusing).

- Dan2552: He said he has problems with LBA 1, not LBA 2.

- ali_f: Just install the LBAWin port. You can get it at http://lbawin.akoonet.com .

I work with 3d. However, since its only me working on animation, graphics wont be very advanced......more like playstation 1 graphics. However, with a good story, trust me its interesting.

Here is a sample posted online:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz8z-eU3DqM

(please dont be put off from it. I rushed it for the narnia community. The current film im making is FULL with details......reason why its taking me long to post it online ).

Cool

Hi there.

I am also new here (registered today). I found this community when I was searching for the LBA1&2 soundtracks.

I play alot of videogames and over the years I've become rather picky. I hope LBA3, if ever released, will be a truly great game that can meet my standards. One cannot help but wonder, though – Do they have what it takes to make a new Little Big Adventure with todays technology? Without losing to much of the "feeling" from previous titles? No one knows..

I'm from Sweden by the way. 21 years old. And I don't intend on hijacking this thread, I just thought it would be wise to post in here instead of creating a completly new topic.

One of my favorite lines from LBA2 had to be:

"Maybe no....Maybe yes......Maybe Both.....But its gonna cost you" (the sailor with one leg.)

Oh, and 'hello' to those who i am new to. (apart from thos who i met yesterday )

Give me an hour. I will be posting a LBA snapshot, if i make a movie of it. Just give me time.

Also, make one. It does not matter if people are picky, ots better than anything. Motivation lol!
