Citadel Island Public Release BETA3.0 is a deathmatch map for Epic Megagames
Unreal Tournament, this map was constructed by using the Epic Megagames
UnrealED 2.0
Keep in mind that this is only a beta version and it is far from being
completed. If for some reason you experiance errors or BSP cuts please inform

DM-Beta30.zip contains the following files.
- DM-Beta3.unr
- LBA.utx
- Readme.txt (This File)

DM-Beta3.unr must be placed inside Unreal Tournament's MAP dir and LBA.utx
must be places inside Unreal Tournament's TEXTURES dir in order to work
correctly.

Well, I just played it a bit, and yeah, it's cool.

I do think though that it's a bit too small. If you see enemies they're too big for the environment. Also, you should add more object to take cover behind and such things. But I saw that's already in your 2do so I'm curious to the next version

It looks fine, accept a bit stiff IMHO. And why don't you use the textures from LBA?

Didn't play it accually, don't have UT installed. So maybe my opinion isn't really realistic.

I'll post a screenshot of my T2-map tommorrow, if only I can fix the problem I currently have.

No, not really, it's a bit harder to get the LBA-textures to work in T2, that's the problem I currently have. WC thinks they're ok, but the T2compiler hates them....

He says he can't find them, but I've got allmost my entire lvl allrdy dressed in the textures ..... Except the normal gray texture, which is used for some of the walls, can't seem to find that one, strange :S

At the moment I'am only using one LBA texture. I'am still working on the the textures.

The Stiffnes will disapear as soon as I start working on the trees, benches, Lamppost's etc.. (I hope )

I've just played it its great
Some problems:

It is too small
you can walk through the fence (where the telescope should be uphill there)

Defently not enough hiding places


in general, its great I just loved kicking some bots' asses near Twinsen's house

That project is a mod of Halflife, this is just editing a map of unreal so we will have LBA map\s to play

Hmm well you could make the beach bit big, and besides, just make the mountains part very big (you can, can't you? I mean worse case if you chose a little map just somehow copy what you've done already to a bigger one )

and there are many trees etc. there

There is one thing I forgot to mention

Sewer.

That would rule.

Can you, please, and i know its very very very very hard, make the bar a place you can go into? not the museum twinsen's house etc. only the bar? that would simply rule, and then there's the basement, and somewhere between the barrels there... A teleport! (those round colored thingys )
That brings you to the sewers

Another one is outside the tavern, you can make that one simply an eleveator

A third one is uphill near the telescope, again, elevator

Fourth one, from the home of the weatherwizard, you can make a little hole in the wall where its supposed to be, and there would be a teleport too that would lead to the spot in the sewers it should lead, but because Twinsen needs to bend to get there you can get it to be lower too, and then ppl need to duck (left shift i think) to get in there to the teleport

K I know its much too much but.. Can you do this? In general, I know you wont it would take way to much time

I'll do what ever I can. But I dont think it is possible to create a full size bar within that small building

Maybe it can be done, if somehow you walk to the door you are being transported into the building somewere ourside the map just like in LBA. There is only one problem I don't know how to do that

Make a huge map and really long sea so nobody could even see that place, which would be on the edge of the map

Well, I'm here since Tuesday (that's why I post now) and (don't know if it is the meaning, or a bug), but when you shoot in the window on top of the museum, your bullet/rocket goes straight thru. But anyway, great map!
