Public Exams.

This applies to UK people more than anyone else really, but anyone else with exams feel free to post.

So, who else has any GCSEs/A-Levels/other public exams this year. Mine officially start on Tuesday with my German Oral. Polish AS is in May, and then the rest of my exams are between 16th May and 25th June.

What about you guys? Feeling confident or whatever? Picked your A-Level courses yet? If so, which?

Basically, exam discussion thread or whatever.

I hated exams then (high school) and I hate them now (university). If someone got rid of them, I'd send them something nice via PayPal.

Exams are a load of crap. But if i do well it might look better than my transcript, lol.
Taking SAT IIs in May (History, Writing and French [shouldn't have too much trouble with French])
May or may not take the SAT I again in June. JJ (or any one else taking/who already took this exam), what would you say is a good score on that?

I take my A2 exams from the 15th July to 25th July. I'm doing History, English Combined and Business Studies. I need either BBB or ABC to get in Newcastle University. I shouldn't have too many problems with History and Business, but English is a complete bitch at A2.

I did my math bagrut a few months ago.
Got 82. I was personally disappointed but everybody else seemed impressed, so.

Also, in about a month, the bagrut period will start and i will be kind of buried under studying

I'm only in my first GCSE year so no exams that actually matter...but there are some annoying year 10 ones after Easter that we're supposed to actually revise a lot for. One revision session for each subject for me probably.

Erm, well, I think I cocked up a bit towards the end because I was a tad nervous. But, no, its not actually as hard as I expected. My tips would be to answer in the tense you're asked, and keep talking. (The first roleplay is piss, you can't go wrong there. The second one was fairly challenging, but nothing too complex.) Erm.. presentation, just learn that. As for general conversation? Just use lots of Wenn, Weil, Dass, etc clauses and you'll be fine

I wouldnt revise too much. Just learn some vocab or something, otherwise, you can't really revise. Its more a kind of make-it-up-as-you-go-along kinda thing.

I'm doing German, French, Music and a GNVQ in ICT instead of a fourth. Double science is compulsory where I go to school in Oxford.

RE = Religious Education. You can probably guess what we learn there.

Here we do either Double or Triple Science. Triple Science you get a grade for each separate science (ie, Biology, Physics, Chemistry). And example would be A, B, A. For double science you get a double grade as an average, eg, AA or BB, CC. Etc. I'm not sure what the double science course is like, as I am not doing it. I know that triple science requires one to learn extra material, however.
