3ds Max Twinsen Model

To top off this new year with the first creation thread for 2013, I have decided to post a not too old model, but not a completely recent model, either. I created this model about a month ago. I hope all of you enjoy it. It only took me about two days to create. It might be used for an upcoming game I plan on creating and releasing eventually. It is called, "Dino - Flight". Which was discussed in a fan game thread about a month or two ago.

To cut to the chase, here is the model of Twinsen. All he needs left is a re - texture, a few edits, and bones so he can be animated.



What do you think?

I may add up - coming pictures in the future. As of now, this is what there is to look at.

Yes, the ponytail is a bit weird, the rest seems fine to me... but i'm no modeler and I couldn't even get close to model a sphere, so feel free to ignore my comment :P

I'd also make the rope of the medallion smaller, it looks way too big. The medallion in general seems a bit disproportionate.

This thread is getting older I see.

Wow. Bishop, I am impressed! Your model looks fairly close to the models of Twinsen that we see in the cutscenes of both LBA 1 and 2. Everything looks great!

However, I would like to consider a few criticisms if that is fine:

1.) Twinsen's belt looks kind of, "Flat". You should use a, "Torus" primitive for the belt, and modify if to fit best. I used one in my model in the first post.

2.) Twinsen's belt, medallion string, and his ponytail ring should be an orange color. I used red for mine to bring out an LBA 2 feel.

3.) Twinsen's tunic is a fairly brighter blue. Although, I guess this varies. In LBA 1 cutscenes his tunic looked darker, and in LBA 2, it looked lighter.

4.) Twinsen's ponytail is more brown. Again, this varies between LBA 1 and 2. Everything did seem much more vibrant in LBA 2.

Anyways, good job overall. I give a 4 / 5.
