LBA "Enhanced" Save file format Vs Standard format
Okay, so I've just done a quick side-by-side comparison of the Enhanced save file Vs standard LBA save file.
The differences between the Enhanced Version (EV), and LBA Normal (LN) are: EV: File starts with 04, LN: File starts with 03. EV limits your filename so it's always Twinsen. LN lets you choose your name. EV has 8 extra bytes on the EOF as yet undetermined: At least the first few bytes appear to be TimeInTicks i.e. In-game time of 5:17, translates to 3170000000 ticks. Stored data is 0x3D 0x01. 0x013D = 317 Last edited by Phreak; 2019-10-17 at 23:09.
