A topic I created already turned into a speedrun discussion, but with this thread hopefully more people will see it. It's a work in progress, so I will update this first post every time I put up a new segment (on youtube).

Feel free to post your opinions and I'll be happy to explain anything I do.

Nice compilation, not necessarily some of the scenes I would have chosen but still good. Interesting to see it in Polish.

You can do whatever you want with it as long as you give credit

@Hakvin - each segment is how long I played before I saved, as you can see from watching the video. So up till Otringal I saved three times. I'm going to time the segments at some point...

The next major segment is going to be very tricky. There's a nasty tendency to burn through my limited supply of clovers. My optimistic approach is that I'll end the segment at Island CX but I need to do some significant planning.

I noticed you changed some things from your first run. You only went through the well in Temple Park twice this time. I also like how you got to the chest in the School of Magic this time. Was a lot quicker than sneaking . I also liked how you killed the Tralu using the ring of lightning which you shouldnt have. I tried to get it myself btw and noticed the color of it is fully yellow, not with a little green like it is when you should really get it for the first time in the game. I guess it just takes the same color as the Magicball or something.

It was also nice to see you run through the Dome of the Slatee as it always takes me a lot of time.

Just something I was wondering, did you try to get Sendell's Ball before going to Zeelich the first time? You have the key to get in the room and you have the ring of lightning so you should be able to get it right?

I'm really impressed. Keep it up!

Ah, the old Sendell's ball early thing.

You need to get the magic levels in order since they overrride each other. You can get the red magic level from Sendell's Ball before you get the yellow magic level from the Tunic & Medallion, but then you get a yellow magic level and you can't complete the game. It's the same for this, I need to get the green magic level from the wizards before I get the red level.

BTW, dumb question, is it absolutely necessary to stop the rain? The Dino still can't fly, or something?

Yeah, you can't get out of the Dome of the Slate while still with Zoe.

If you don't stop the rain but heal dino-fly he'll stand up, but any attempts to talk to him will result in him falling back down and giving the same comment as he does before he's healed.

And as morshem said, for the brief period when it's still raining but you're with Zoe the dino-fly will let you travel for some reason, but you cannot climb the ladder at the end of the Dome of the Slate and the door you come through is inaccessible.

wich program did you use when recording this ? have you made any new parts? youre bug-user there...^^

I used FRAPS to record, the framerate display doesn't work because the game is old but the recording function is fine.

My segment4+5+6 are done but they only involve winning the slot machine.

Segment7 is up to the completely random Mosquibee ball and door challenge. I haven't made it yet but it's far more fun than most of the other parts. The hardest aspect is not taking so much damage that I die, and at one point I kill myself intentionally to re-fill my magic meter. There's also slight luck with which enemy drops the key in the casino, but since I kill 2 with lightning I have a reasonable 2 in 3 chance of success.

It is! ...but you can thank Kobold for that one >_<

That hopping trick and a slightly improved route through the temple balloon money mushroom thing were influenced by others (Kobold and El Muerte respectively), I found everything else myself.

It wasn't the best of runs, pretty much everything that could go wrong that wouldn't destroy a run happened but the gameplay was very solid and I know several places that were significantly faster.

It's probably better than I say, I notice all sorts of mistakes while playing that are completely unnoticeable when I watch them. But those stupid hovercar things screwed me over twice by quitting the conversation.

I'm still very satisfied, after several hours of attempts (I fell off the ladder into the water just after the laser crystals TWICE by the way) it is finally done, and I can try something different and hopefully easier.

It'll take a few hours to copy them onto my main computer, 1-2 hours to compress them, then another hour or so to upload them to youtube, so I'll just post again when it's up!

Woah, that's a lot of time, for a speedrun!
Must be very frustrating though (and for us aswell)!

I found the bloopers part very funny will it be bigger if you have finished the speedrun for the whole game?
