LBA "Slap" FMV's

So I've been replaying LBA on Steam, where I am loving the gamepad controls being able to run in the direction I'm pressing rather than doing that awkward turning thing. And being able to beat up clones with your fists at the same magic level is also awesome

I have one achievement left and am wondering how it's done. There are four videos of Twinsen getting slapped, but am unsure how to view all of them. Do they unlock depending on your level of magic?

I think you only need to be hit few times.
If Twinsen is slapped multiple times he will got "injured".
Not sure though, how many times you need to be hit.

I thought they unlocked depending on the prison you get sent to. But getting sent to prison multiple times should unlock them.

^2 I believe it depends on which prision you were arrested...

Aaaah I see, so that would be Citadel, Principal, Proxima and Fortress Island? Or does the forced slap when you get captured in the cage not count?

I also haven't been able to get this achievement, there is also a prison on the Hamilayi mountains, but this still gives the 2nd slap.


The achievement guide on steam says you have to go to Proxima island and get caught with the 3rd level of magic, but this doesn't work for me whether or not I have been caught on Proxima before or not.


A comment on the guide says getting caught on Principal after meeting the astronomer works, but not for me.


Any other ideas?

Beating up the clones was done cause magicball aim is really bad this version

There are 4 different movies:
- normal
- with blue eye
- with band-aid
- Twinsen's resists, and gets hit on the other side.

It's best to get jailed on each island at least once, and you should get it.
- citadel island
- principal island
- proxima island
- hamalayi mountains (before you use the underground shuttle).
- fortress island (can't miss this one)

I don't know which one you can skip, probably either principal island or citadel island. But you'll miss out on some fun things.

Thanks for this, this seems to suggest I'm actually missing the 2nd video.


Get caught straight after starting a new file: normal
Get caught in my house: normal
Walking myself into the jail on principal island and out again: Band-aid


Band aid is what I get on Principal, Proxima, Hamalayi...

That's weird... How about getting caught on Citadel, after you have the tunic ?

Well I tried to get caught, but the Itchy Trigger Finger in the Asylum behind the door has gone. Can't seem to get in through the main entrance, and the pharmacy just summons a yellow grobo clone.


Is it possible to get caught on Citadel after getting your tunic?

Hmm... What about the telepod above the passage leading to the harbor ?

Never seen anything arrive there. Not sure how to trigger it, if it's possible.

So it turns out you can get arrested by going through the chute to the citadel and going into the corner.

This gives me Band-aid video, leading me to think maybe it is the 3rd video I'm missing.


It also traps you in prison with only glitching your way out possible.
