How r u doing y'all? Need help with Engine

Hello there
My name is Dima and i am from Russia. I am a big fan of LBA (LBA II was my first videogame) and I am happy to know LBA remake (or LBA III, whatever) is on the way!

Well why am I here?
I've come to ask you, LBA-community, for an opensource engine for LBA. Maybe some of you heard about nokia tablets like Nokia 770, n800 and n810. They all run Linux (debian-like if you ask). And I and friend of mine made a port of one engine (twin-e) and it worked nice BUT with a few lags... So the worse thing is that for some reason after you reach the harbour every time you open Inventory game crashes. So You can add a syrup to the waterstation etc...
So please could someone advice (or give me a link) what engin should we use and where we can get it. I will really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance

I don't think any engines have been done apart from twin-e which is not complete (you can wal on water !), but I'm not into programming, so wait until someone knowledgeable comes and confirms (or refutes) me.
Welcome by the way

Thank you, Polaris.

I hope twin-e is still being improved and we just used old version of it which was full of bags...
