Good work people... looks like your efforts are baring fruit. At first the game seemed too minor to me to be Fred's next game. But now that I look again it looks pretty nice. Hopefully it will help him doing something major next.

yeah, its s stepping stone.
But I like the idea of seeing the sound of people approaching you when its too dark, but not knowing if its a child or killer. That could get pretty scary, especially as you want to hold of shoting till you know for sure.

A very similar sound visualization system can be found in a polish game called This War of Mine, which will be released in a week (14.11). I participated in its focus tests a few months ago and I liked having this feeling of insecurity while "seeing" the sounds without knowing their source...

igromania.ru - made the news about 2Dark in social networks (and for repost, someone could win Evil Within , also in russian social networks over 15 major websites have published news about 2Dark).

I advertised in gog's own comments but it quickly got swamped. LOTS of love for LBA still around though. ie. Trying to say "hay guys if you like LBA teams work yous should help them..." and then getting drowned out by 3 pages of "LBA rocks! Best game EVER!"

Anyway good work on the Russian front it seems.
Funding really seems to be on a knife edge....a little over half down with a little over half the left.

(Watched spoonyexperiment.com review that thing once, unfortunately they botched the launch with some faulty units so it did not come across well at all)

I have a feeling that in America, no one knows about this game. Frederick makes a very active promotion in France. If look at the statistics of backers - 80% peoples from France and very rarely anyone can see with English names. Most web-sites simply ignore our mail... "a new game from the creators of Alone In The Dark" - this is big news for gamers press! I don't understand why not all websites have published news about this project... easier to publish news about the new DLC's? I hope that Frederick has a plan and pair of aces up his sleeve (and he knows one sponsor who will be able to buy "Gloomywood Mayor") .

Hes done a lot of french interviews for sure, so it makes sense that gets the most press.
Also Id guess theres a lot of "WTF is this ulululue thing" from people in other countries.

That said, absolutely it still should get more coverage.
We just gota keep trying. A single big site reporting could push enough people to fund them in one go.

Either that or target big twitter celebs?
