Since my last post in this thread I finished

Sam & Max Season 3
Oh awesome, seriously. I just loved it, best season yet, it has so much more, and I'm not talking only about the graphics. Season 1 and 2 can be a little monotone or boring some times, never fealt that in Season 3. The whole story is absurd

Broken Sword 3
Nice. Too many crate puzzles all over the game, very simple for a BS game, but not that bad. It has a nice story, and the classical Broken Sword humor.
Broken Sword 4
I used to hate this game but I don't know why. It's hard enough, totally point & click, and better than BS3. Lacks a bit on humor maybe, but it's a good game.

Full Throttle
Great classic Nothing to say about it. Fantastic story.

Sam & Max hit the road
After playing the whole Telltale series I decided to play the original Lucas Arts title. Great humor, but weird story. I love what Telltale did in their games, I like them so much better, and it's hard to make better sequals to a classic.

Currently playing Call of Cthulhu: Dark corners of the Earth, and I'm just loving it. Has some glitches now and then but it's worth playing. Lovecraft, after all.

...aaaaaaaaaand then I have Day of The Tentacle just waiting for me

Call of Cthulhu is great survival horror, I really liked the whole sanity system, gave me some pretty intense moments. Also your first night in the game is one of the greatest scenes in gaming imo.

Yeah. I never felt my heartbeat growing up in a game, and that's the only scene in a video game that ever gave me that (might be because I was playing during the night). It's not the same once you already know how to get past that, anyway. Once I finished that part I loved it so much I just decided to replay it and it was totally different...

I just finished Professor Layton and the Lost Future.
Spoiler:
And here I was sitting thinking they're never going to top off the end of the movie in terms of ABSOLUTE BATSHIT INSANITY, but it seems like they tried their best to achieve just that

Agreed, they don't know how to end their stories.

Some of you may already know that I don't like Fallout 3, but then I decided to play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

I have been playing it for a month or so, and it's quite catchy, even if it's some days I don't play because I started to think its ripetitive. Quite fun in anyway. Has a lot of glitches and restriction tho...
But I find it better than Fallout 3 anyway. (Yes I really said that! XD)
I think I'm the only one in the whole world to say that, but I don't know why... maybe it's the storyline, maybe it's the greater number of side quests (that maybe are more interesting than the main quests), or the bigger number of people to interact with, the option to speak and be nice or mean to people... I just like it more.
Who knows, maybe I'll play Fallout 3 after I'm done with Oblivion and get a completely new opinion of the game :P

Seek And Destroy

I played alot of shareware games as a kid and one of the coolest one was Seek And Destroy, alot of action, explotions, helicopters and tanks, but I never got the full version, untill just a couple of days ago.

I went to an old site where Epic sells their old Epic Megagames, only thing is that they only takes cash... sent in an envelope, so I did.
I went to the bank to get 20$ since its the only way to get dollars in Norway, printed and filled out the form and got the game about a week later, coool!

Not optimized for newer OS´s, I had do use DosBox and the game ran like a dream in OS X =D

The game is as I remembered it, lots of action and explotions. You mostly just fly around in your Apache blowing up stuff, saving some guys and shoot down some helicopters.
The game is pretty short-lived, 3 hours or so to complete, but its nice to have laying around as I love to pick it up and play every now and then.

Well worth 20$ sent across the world =D

The order form is Here

Gameplay can be seen here

Nice

I'm still in a fantasy world: I finished Oblivion, and started Dragon Age II.
I loved Oblivion, but it gets ripetitive after 40% of the main quest.

Dragon Age II looks promising, but I only played 3 hours now. It's not so different from Drag Age I... but it's missing an higher camera like a real time strategi game(DA1 had something like that, and I used it quite often), and the character u are controlling won't attack automatically... The story is interesting till now, and things u have done in the first game will affect something on the second, just as we seen with Mass Effect.
Interesting and catchy 'til now, yet there could be improvements

Minecraft.

If you get through the initial frustration about exploding Zombies killing you with one hit, it's a blast in multiplayer.

Neverwinter Nights

Didn't really play it recently(bit scarce on time atm), but it was the last game I played. It's been one of those games I've wanted to play, but something more interesting usually popped up, so I left it till nearly a decade after its release to play it.

It was quite nice, reasonably interesting story. I was expecting it to be much more like BG II than it was, eg more than a 2-man party, the ability to access a party-member's inventory and also more control over the 'henchman'. In fact, now that I look at it, it was really just the party thing that felt a bit unnatural to me. All-in-all I got into the flow of things quite quickly.

I should mention though, that I found the game a little shorter than expected, even with completing all the side-quests.

It was good, but nothing *that* amazing. Though my view is probably distorted by the fact that I played a Baldur's Gate II rerun a little while before it, so I was expecting it to be the same level of massiveness.

In summary, a good, generic RPG.

I've heard a few people say that, but tbh, I'm still not sure why it was so impressive in its time. Pray enlighten me :P

I played Neverwinter Nights back when it came out... I thought it looked shiny, but it just didn't appeal to me as much Knights of the Old Republic and other similar games.

Then again, I'm playing Sam & Max - Season 1 nearly 5 years after its release.

Well, the graphics were pretty nice for the time, but more importantly it was one of the most publicly modable games ever - coming with extensive tools for making your own landscapes, quests etc. There was a heck of a lot of post release content too, both official and fan made, almost all free.
Some of the fan made stuff was amazing.

Ready?
Minecraft, Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty MW2, Call of Duty BOps, EVAC, Otto Matic, and VVVVVV -- all in the last 24 hours. I do get quite bored on sick leave.
