AntiChamber - Absolutely must play. Non-euclidean geometry metrovania. Its like Portal, without being like it at all. Its not like anything really. Really brilliant puzzles and a truely brain-twisting environment.

Why do you think it's the best hardware ? What makes it better than all the others ?

All the generic shit.

Max Payne 3 (Pleasantly surprised, was expecting it to be a horrible remake)
Halo 4 (Better than all the others imo, never thought Halo was all that special, this one changed my opinion)
Dishonored (Fun, enjoyed it quite a lot, wouldn't rate it as highly as the critics though)

Rayman 3D

I am least pleased with this than with my previous 3DS games...

Same music and graphics as the PC version, with more particles in the environment and the 3D works extremely well !! All these particles flying into my face... MORE !!
And the music is awesome, the 3DS's speakers do a very fine job !

Now, why I didn't like it that much :
1 - This is a port of the Dreamcast version, which had several exclusive minigames. Guess what ? Not ported !! Why would they do that
2 - There are some flying levels at the end, they added in an automatic stabilizer. There goes the feeling of freedom but true, it is easier to fly like that. But what I don't get is... WHY IS IT BUGGED ?! There is some kind of bonus place, where it is impossible to know if you're upside-down or not... But the game knows, and gladly stabilies you in the nearest wall. Why would they do that
3 - In the game, you need to gather 1000 lums to reconstruct the heart of the world. A vilain eats one, but you can still find it hidden in a cemetery. It is lodged in the eye of a skull, you need to bounce on a trampoline to get it. Guess what, here the trampoline acts as a platform, no bouncing !! You can still get up by being hit by an ennemy in the right angle, you take it, go to change scene aand... the game freezes. You need to press start and quit (which saves the game perfectly btw). And then... nothing, game says 100% complete, buut only 999/999 lums gotten and no bonus Why would they do that ?

LACK OF TESTING PLUS CONTENT CUT OUT !!!! This is the first time I feel scammed after buying a videogame, and it's by nintendo...
If this was a homebrew, it would have been an awesome homebrew/port. But it's not. It's an official release...

Its mostly subjective, but a few things bias me towards it;

*Probably the biggest leap in processing power (DS producing games looking a bit better then N64, the 3DS actually being more powerfull then the Wii). I guess SNES<>N64 was a bigger change, what with 3D becoming norm, so maybe this is 2nd.

*Lots and lots of built in stuff/freebies. I love the fact that each week they send out random 3D indie short films, for example.

*Finally Nintendo getting internet features right. Its not perfect, but its again a pretty huge leap from what they had. Being able to pause a game, go online, then jump back to the game at the same point was a cool idea.

* 3 cameras / 3D / Gyros / Accelerators...pretty darn packed in terms of sensors and features.
Hell, theres even a completely unused Infer Red port on the system O_o

I am also a sucker for AR :P

Its by Ubisoft.
They have been pushing buggy games for awhile now.
The "Rayman Rabbits" game on the Wii was released yet completely impossible to get 100% as well. (due to a scoring system which simply didnt add up).

Jetpack Joyride. If you have little time to play games, it's the perfect choice. It's for android and iOS I think.

I completely forgot about this one (not having it in my area doesn't help)

True, but nintendo are overprotecting when it comes to games published on their hardware, so I can't help but blame them for not looking into it... True the whole thing is still Ubisoft's work.

That really sucks
Its a bit stupid too as 90% of the stuff Ive seen has been completely language neutral too. Probably some rights issues, but then, some are from small university teams and such so its hardly going to be like Hollywood negotiations here.

An nds title : 999 - 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
I was not a fan of visual novels, but the NDS kinda changed me - I loved the Ace Attorney series and Last Window, but this games is the shit. I always get bored of games that have you complete the game multiple times to get the "true ending", but this actually had me experiencing all 5-6 endings! Every time you start the game again you get something different, new puzzles and dialogues based on your choices. Of course, I needed a guide on what choices to follow in order to have all the endings, but the first three were just achieved by doing different choices every time. The story and the puzzles is really what keeps this game going. I even learned of things I totaly ignored that existed, like prosopagnosia (inability to recognize human faces). What I really didn't like was the actual ending, but sincerly, it doesn't matter. This game had me wondering hundreds of questions every time I got an ending, and the puzzles are just great.
What I really hated is the inability to skip puzzler you have already solved in previous gameplays, but you can still skip known dialogues... most of them. The adventure genre is still alive, and we owe that to japan. Arigatou, Nippon!
8/10

If you play the sequel, Virtues Last Reward, be warned theres a save-game breaking bug in it.

The only thing they've ever updated/patched is mario kart 7. Even though Rayman 3D would need it.
