Has anyone been able to rip the music from LBA2's CD?
I'm not sure of the legality of this, or if asking about this kind of thing is forbidden on the boards, but I do own a copy of Twinsen's Odyssey and I'd really like to be able to listen to the soundtrack at work on my MP3 player.
If there is a place I can download it in mp3 format, that would be great, but instructions on how to rip the music from the CD would be just as good -- though I'd have to go searching for the disc! ![]() |

Yes, we allow this kind of questions.
It's the ones where they ask where they can get a rip of the game that we can't exactly answer. You have two options ahead of you. 1. Extract the music from the CD. You can use something like Windows Media Player to rip the songs by inserting the CD into your drive and using the Rip CD function. 2. Download the MP3s from this site. Here's the link to the page where all the songs (including the in-game ones) are stored. Have fun ![]()

XD wait... are you saying that if I liked LBA's music, I'll like Enya?
that may be worth checking out... heh |

Quite the opposite.
When you enter the Lba1 or Lba2 CD into your PC and run Windows Media Player, the CDDB says that the CDs are by Enya. ![]()

Both freedb and gracenote correctly identify the LBA cds, so it's not CDDB

I only get the Enya pickup on LBA1, for LBA2 track I just "open" the CD and explore it till I find it.
There's quite a lot though, if you find the six longest tracks, then you get all the shorter ones in those. There's the theme, the intro movie music, a track you'll probably associate with desert island, one for the temple of bu, one for the mosquibees (kinda march/parade sorta thing), and a darker one that always makes me think of the wannies. |
