wow this is amazing! Regardless if it's a reboot or not it should be the start of more and more good things to come!
Might be better for the new dev team to work on a LBA 1 remake type of thing to begin with anyway, to help them get a feel for what LBA is about. Then they can go on with that experience and knowledge to create an even better game. Especially once they hear what they could do better an so on. |

I totally agree! I'm even wondering what the threshold is at how much investment of time and money making a completely reimagined remake (like the Final Fantasy VII remake which cost hundreds of millions of dollars) is better than improving the original code (by for example making the fights in LBA1 better and supporting higher resolutions).

Will they actually replace the GoG versions without being able to switch back to the "original" ones? I mean I'm looking forward to the new update, but I don't want the original one to disappear from my collection ![]() ![]() ![]()

Perhaps four or five times more, perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." --- Paul Bowles |

Since they removed the soundtracks from the GoG version, I can safely say :
Download and store locally everything, no exception. Everything.

You can extract them from the game files, or you can buy them on iTunes, where they'll cost you more than the games
![]() Alternatively, they are included in the recent re-orchestration album.

Oh, that I know, I was just asking for *the* ones from GoG, their actual .zip soundtrack collection, just as a "collector's item", as it bugs me I did not save them before they were taken out (somehow I thought they'd stay in my account for as long as the GoG platform will be alive... I was wrong
