Summer 1996 edition of PC Soluces

All 31 pages of the summer 1996 edition of PC Soluces are now online.

PC Soluces Cover

This edition contains a complete graphical walkthrough of LBA1. There's an overview image for almost every scene in the game.
It also has a short preview of LBA2.

Yeaah, cool!!! thought it's not easy to read(because of the picture resolution).
They give a review of the game in the last page. They say lba is more than a game. It's a real universe with its own characters problem and its hero: twinsen.
They say that when you start playing lba, you can't stop playing. And they add: "this game is a game to avoid if you are in an exam period".
Once upon a time, in a far, far past, when i was still sucking my thumb, my math teacher gave me this edition of PC Soluces and we used to talk about lba after the math lessons...

You do know you can view the original image (link in the bottom right). Sure, they are not as high as some of the others. Didn't have the time yet to rescan them.

Sweet! Thanks, MBN is getting nicer from day to day.

El: I think it would be more clear if it said "original size" instead of "view original".

Strike me down if you want, but I have to say that that's a really terrible render on the front cover.

You did?
Lol, it's funny cause I've never put such scans in my pages

The walthrough from my (what's this particle that one puts before a name to indicate it's deceased already?)website is for LBA2 and is made entirely by me.

As for the mag, yeah i have this one

It's a shame my scanner doesn't work anymore, cause as i said I had another magasine about lba2. Not that it's of much interest, just that i assume that, as fanboys/girls, we like to gather the more information we can... I'll try to deal with it if/when i've time

edit : is it "late" ? I think it is

Thanks El_Muerte for going through all the trouble to scan in the images. For those of you that don't want to spend 5 minutes downloading all 32 images, here is a single download of all images.

In case of compressed JPG images, hardly.
And if you want small files use WinRK

Everytime I upload or share a RAR file, I get the same response..."what is an RAR!?". So I gave up and create self extracting versions only...

In reference to WinZIP, I prefer WinRAR mainly because when I want to breakup and span a large file across multiple smaller files, WinRAR allows me to specify the target size and then creates the multiple parts. On the other hand, WinZIP requires having the medium (floppy, USB flash driver, etc.) available in order to create and span larger files.

I always create ZIPs using WinRAR when I need to put it online. There is almost never a significant different between the size of a ZIP and a RAR.
