Scans from the French Generation 4 magazine

lbadream submitted 15 scanned pages from the French gaming magazine Generation 4.

LBA1 Review
Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [cover] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [1] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [2] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [3] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [4] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [5] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [6] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [7] Generation 4 Review 1994-10 [8]

LBA2 Review
Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [1] Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [2] Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [3] Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [4] Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [5] Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [6]

Quite long reviews. The gaming magazines I used to read only had 2 to 4 pages for a review. In case of a 4 page review it was usually the month's special (yes, that includes all the screenshots).

Aye!

And Magic Carpet! So many great memories from that game. It's still on the Underdogs website.

That's the longest LBA review I've ever seen!

Btw. You posted twice the LBA 1 review: Image n.6 instead of the Image n.8

A very long review it is!

Anyway, this page of the LBA 2 review:
Generation 4 Review 1997-06 [6]
has a screenshot of Citadel Island right after the Esmers land for the first time, and one of the two Sups, the one that is usually the one who shoots you if you harass any of them, has a gray suit!

(NOTE: That same Sup has a bright green suit in the normal version of the game.)

A new screenshot from the pre-production, maybe?

Heh, grey is more agent-like, but bright-green is more alien-like.

I quess, It is a pre-production screenshot, because the dog in the island of the francos is not white in
image 4 of the LBA2 Review..(I'm winning! I'm having the newest spot of it being a pre-production review! ..there must be still more than those two to spot..)

pre-gold or pre-release
not pre-production, that simple doesn't make sense

Ah, yes, now that you mention it, I recall being upset about that.

Really want to play that game. Not only due to the nastalgia factor, but also because the game is simply awsome.

It was pretty obvious, there was no reason to email Fred about this.

Hmm, interesting, any pre-released builds of LBA 2 floating around anywhere?
