PSP and LBA1
Well, i was just doing a bit of mooching in the lba scene, and spotted this thread

according to the coder of the open edition firmware (version A went down a storm) the sony ps1 games on psp are the original games, wrapped in a generic emulator, no real porting was done?

what does this mean, well in open edition B, you may be able to crack out your old ps1 copy of LBA1 and give it a spin on your psp.

Im really excited, ofcourse, itll all be cofirmed in a couple of hours, ill probably check back in about 12hrs.

But if its genuine I think its an awesome present for LBA fans and PSP owners alike.

nope, sorry buddy.
they just managed to make a downgrader for 2.80,
although they have just managed a dump of a 3.0+ firmware, so who knows, but at the moment, no chance.

there are also unofficial ps1 emulator for psp, but they only work on 1.50 i fear.

well, i havent checked for a long time......but there is a fully working PS1 emulator for the PSP. Its actually a firmware hack (by dark alex) which has allowed users to put there own PS1 games onto their memory card.

However, only a minority can do this (those with 1.5 firmware or those who already follow 'dark alex'.

Anyway, im searching for LBA on PS1 so i can play it portable with full speed and no sound glitches...(yes i have been playing non stop with this cool emu)

3.02 OE-B rocks. After I finish ff7-8-9, Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Tactics, I will probably start LBA too

heh, ive got my converted ISO, with custom Icons (and perhaps i'll modify the PBP to play the lba theme aswell) all ready, now ill have my psp on the 8th when i go back to university. It'll be a fun, nostalgic night... ill try to post a vid, if it works

Ive tried it on the PSP.......I have encountered many bugs since i have the PAL version etc.

I only wish LBA2 had come out on psp....

LBA2 in the form of TWINSENS ODYSSEY, did come out in Australia.

... I won't be surprised if this is fake/mistake... There's no image, no review, and absolutely not one single word about it, except for "Twinsen's Odyssey" and "PS". I mean, it can just as well be a typo for "PC".... Or something...

That isn't my basis, but trust me, I am 99.999r% sure that it was released on PS1 as twinsens odyssey.
