Wow
I wonder if it has got any differences from the other Versions of TO wouldn't it be possible that they've brought it with a patch for running on newer Windows-versions? WinXP was just released one year later.... |

Inquiry: I've never seen a magazine give out full versions of games (even old ones). Is this common outside of North America?

In Germany, you won't get a proper gaming magazine without a full version of a game, be it as old or crappy as it may.

Double-J, it's pretty common in Brazil.
I have this version btw. The magazine is lost somewhere in an enormous pile of old crap. There aren't any differences to the other versions afaik; it's the same version as the one released in a box here by EA, with Brazilian Portuguese translations by Atlam Toys or something. Edit: this is my first ontopic post in like 5 years. =o |

I remember to read this magazine by that time. It was something I was looking for a long time ago and never find it. Thanks a lot Cacão

I seem to remember when being quite small my dad would get magazines with full versions of floppy disk games on them, like Commander Keen IV, the Lion King, Aladdin and Word Rescue. I haven't seen any recently, though. |

I have seen a number on British magzines. Not floppy diskettes, but rather CDs and DVDs.
However, they were not enormously popular titles, rather they were games that were made independantly or games that had long lost the public eye. |
