Good news and bad....
Bad news first;
Ubisofts Treasure Hunter Institute beta has stopped with no plans at the moment to continue development or release it as a full game. The unique puzzle/explore-em-up was co-created by the creators of LBA and had a strong focus on user generated content in vast explorable landscapes. Its truly a shame to see it ended. And now some good news; Alone In The Dark is now available to buy on GoG.com. Made by the core team behind LBA, this game almost single handedly invented the survival horror genre. GOG has put together a nice bundle of the game,soundtrack and sequels, made it all work on XP/Vista/W7 and is selling it for $6; http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/alone_in_the_dark To go with its release they have also interviewed the creator - the man also behind LBA; http://www.gog.com/en/news/alone_in_...tive_and_qanda

The bad news render the good news insignificant
![]() First Agartha, then Trium Planeta, and now this? I'm so sorry Fred, this must so frustrating for you. There should be a law that forbids corporates from forcing months of creative endeavor to go unpublished.

Well, I always thought for discontinued projects at the very least the game assets should be auctioned of - always seems such a waste.
Anyway...whats with the really late news responses?

The problem with games is that you'd need to sell the game assets as soon as possible before the tech becomes obsolete. And that could happen in just a year of delay (Think about a game to be released on a console, and then bam!! The next generation is there and your game looks like crap now)
