Would it be possible to get support for the Japanese font in this engine? The character set is basically standard Japanese Shift-JIS, and the font seems to be a standard 24x24 bitmap fonts.

It's an open source project you know... Usually in those cases, if someone (a programmer) wants a particular feature, he implements it himself

Kickstarter

Why not use Kickstarter to fund a third installment of Little Big Adventure?

Cheers,
Sizzle

Why did no one have this idea before? I'm sure that if we spread this throughout the whole LBA community (other forums, websites, social networks) this will surely work out! There are so many fans out there that this is ought to work

It isn't. I've seen many kickstarts work out pretty well before and I think LBA has some real potential. Am I weird today? People seem to be misunderstanding me a lot

I'm just leaving for the day then lol

No, it's just the whole "let's have the fan community fund LBA 3" thing has been a thing for quite some time, as long as I can remember this forum being around at least.

But now we have a plataform to do so, no? The whole problem are, I guess, the copyrights, which I'm not sure where are standing at this moment. But I guess again that's just another LBA3 dream lol

I just don't think it's realistic. But if you are inclined to get it working, by all means.

Again, the problem would be the the copyrights. I, at least, am sure that we Wouldn't be able to make any big game without having permission from whoever has the copyright, and that seems higly improbable. So yea, its totaly unrealistic
